Subject: [ruby-talk:25216] Compiling Ruby with VC++ - Makefile problems

When compiling ruby with vc++ as per the instructions I get a complaition
error in the generated makefile for some of the extensions.

Makefile:29: *** missing separator.  Stop.

It seems that that line is
@SET_MAKE@

I really only know the simplest things about make files being isoloate from
them by IDE's mostly.  I can manage a simple one to compile a few things
with gcc and thats about it.  I think this looks like an autoconf thing.

I could probably get to the bottom of this but it would probably take me
some time.   Has anyone else had this problem?
