Back in my Object Pascal days, circumventing the absence of multiple inheritance meant creating proxy objects, a task I came to hate: neverending typing of information that was redundant and nevertheless forced to update two interfaces instead of one, if the proxied happened to still be under development. method_missing makes it as simple as typing @proxy.send(method_id.to_s, *args) in method_missing, and hands, wrists and schedule are all happier. :-) Massimiliano
