I spent most of last year mired in this argument over Ruby. Needless  
to say that project is now being written in "safe" J2EE, the delivery  
deadline has been pushed back by 12-18 months, and I no longer work  
for the company concerned. All because the business folks wanted to  
be able to sue someone if things go wrong. And yes, they really are  
that clueless that they think Sun can be put in the frame.
