I'll agree with that. I just pre-ordered a copy.

My book is probably the closest thing to competition
for Michael Neumann's. It is _The Ruby Way_, written
with large contributions from Guy Hurst, Kevin Smith,
Patrick Logan, and Chad Fowler, and with great 
assistance from Matz, Dave Thomas, and the rest of
the Ruby community.

It is more or less an expanded clone of the Perl Cookbook,
if you're familiar with that. (And thanks goes to Conrad 
Schneiker for this idea, as well as for introducing me to
Ruby two years ago.)

Do not take the title too seriously. This is not intended
to be the One True Authoritative book. If any book could
fill that role, I assume it would be one by Matz.

For those who wonder whether to buy _The Ruby Way_
or _The Ruby Developer's Guide_, I offer a simple 
solution...

Buy both of them.   :)
