I am not sure what the status of that is. At RubyConf in Florida there was some discussion about doing a Ruby version of "How to Think like a Computer Scientist". You can see the Python version online at http://www.ibiblio.org/obp/thinkCSpy/ After the conference one brave soul quietly volunteered to look at what it would take to produce the Ruby version. It wasn't me - after writing a book on Software Craftsmanship I can safely say that computer science isn't really something that I can put my energy into:-) Currently I'm working on an eXtreme Programming book, but once I have finished the first draft of that I plan to get started on a beginners Ruby book covering software development, objects and Ruby. If all goes to plan I should be starting to post online drafts sometime in January together with the obligatory announcement on ruby-talk.
