Subject: [ruby-talk:24126] programming newbie

I did a little very basic basic, pascal and c++ five to six years ago.
Basic and Pascal were an an alpha micro. The c++ on a Mac 5200. I had
very little documentation for c++ and didn't get past a simple for loop.
I am trying to start programming and am need of refrences. Are there
any good books on ruby, ruby/tk other than Pragmatic Programmers?
