Change #{ ... } to #< ... >

  def puts(str)
    `document.getElementById("STDOUT")['innerHTML'] =
        document.getElementById("STDOUT")['innerHTML'] + "#<str>\n"`
    end

And if you move "puts" into module Kernel, then you can also use the "p" 
method, which is equivalent to puts(obj.inspect).
