True, people frequently are scared of Ruby's dynamic nature - or criticize it. You will find discussions of these issues in threads dealing with "dynamic typing" - there's a ton of them. Also, IIRC there are discussions of these issues that revolve around "rational" which used to change the behavior of Fixnum#/ which could cause problems for some programs. Kind regards robert
