I imagine you never see replies because people would generally reply
offlist to a job offer. As for not posting twice, maybe they are just
happy with the person they hired? ;). Of course I don't know any of this
for certain, but this isn't necessarily a _bad_ place to post job
offerings, and theres less chaff to weed out compared to a traditional
job site, since he knows he needs a ruby programmer.
