     ... does something useful ...
   end
end

class YourClass < RailsPrefixActiveRecord
   belongs_to :hello
end

Do you see the issue now? Prefixes still wouldn't have helped your  
problem, unless you wanted to prefix every method call, which is I  
think we can agree ridiculous.
