I'm on an Mac OS X box, and you appear to be on Windows box, so file  
system differ (I don't have drive letters to contend with), but have  
tried

      Dir.glob("#{drive_letter}:*\\**\\CFI-*")

or

      Dir.glob("#{drive_letter}:*/**/CFI-*")
