There are a lot of real-world tasks that are boring. Some people have jobs where they do all of the interesting work and have the boring work done for them. Network admin definitely isn't one of them :( Of course, there are clever ways to make boring work interesting, but alas, it's not always possible. What I usually do in that instance is do boring work for 45 minutes, do interesting work for 10 minutes, and then take a 5 minute break. It keeps the mind from going numb. :) Best of luck to you getting the migration done as quickly as possible, so you can start working on more interesting things!
