I agree, this might be better.

Nevertheless you don't need to download 77MB.

My msys1.0.7z is 8.265.183 Bytes 
(including MinGW, debug libs and so on) 

There is a lot of unnecessary stuff left, but some libs are also
missing. (zlib etc.) My guess would be 10MB not more.
