Subject: Ruby's role in future operating systems


Hey!

I'm relatively new to Ruby, but for damn sure consider it
the most important language to the future development of operating systems.

Is there any material out there on this?
Or does anybody have any thoughts or experience?

I keep thinking that if all the Bash scripts in FreeBSD instead were to be
Ruby, things would take less code and perhaps even move faster.
I'm sure there are other parts that could be replaced by Ruby as well,
anybody know?
