Subject: [ruby-talk:19631] () overloading

Hi there!

I'm newbie rubyroid and of course I'm suffering from that
ruby-change-syndrom matz was talking about. I thought that maybe ()
operator could be useful sometimes. For example, Proc has []
overloaded, so you can do the following (example from Pickaxe book):

aProc = Proc.new {|a, *b| b.collect {|i| i*a }} 
aProc[9, 1, 2, 3]    # [9, 18, 27] 

It's natural (for me) to have () instead of [].

class Proc
  def () (*args)
    call(*args)
  end
end

aProc = Proc.new {|a, *b| b.collect {|i| i*a }} 
aProc(9, 1, 2, 3) # [9, 18, 27]               

What do you guys think about that?
