What does 'Mister Thomas put me on his killfile.' mean? I'm a member of some other lists, and the atmosphere of the ones I stay at is relaxed, respectful, and nice. Ruby-Talk seemed to be interesting for me as a newbie at first, but now three tings happened that make me decide about leaving or staying: 1. On some website, people reading ruby-talk where questioning the motivations of a member. 2. Recently, I got an off-list message by a member telling me what to write and what not. 3. Now this obscure killfile flame complex. Come on *all*, help to make this an inviting place for newbies, and a place that's worth staying, not just because of highly interesting exchange of information and the high level of expertise of many, but also because of a nice and friendly atmosphere for which the foundation is respect.
