The more I read Slashdot threads about Ruby, and
about other topics, the more I get dissapointed in
Slashdot community, and convinced that Slashdot
public has grown into one of the most ignorant, childish audiences
in the online world, full of guys who express opinions
about things before learning about them.

Given all that, what is the rationale in
casting rubies before slashdotters?

I see much more use in publisizing Ruby to
more educated and/or closed communities,
like, say, Perl community (the one I come from),
etc.
