Store the user settings in a Hash object and then save that to YAML
when the user changes options (or when the program exits...though that
means crashes result in non-saved settings.) When the program starts,
see if the user settings file exists, if it does load it, otherwise
load the default settings. Then apply the settings to the GUI
elements.
