Sounds good to me!

I think Ruby's strengths include readable code.
So if the whole "code improving" (I don't like "amelioration") should
aim at making nice, clear, structured, readable, concise, direct, real,
and efficient code, that shows that programming tasks can be expressed
nicely with Ruby, and at showing the Ruby way of doing things.

Speed, should not be considered at all; machine code, assembler or C
might be better at that ;)
