Subject: What must webhost have to support Ruby?

I want to build a web site using Ruby, and then have it hosted.

When you build a site in MS Frontpage, the webhost you use should offer
FP extensions, to make your site fully functional.

Similarly, what must my webhost offer to make sure my Ruby-built site
is fully functional?
