No, you were right the first time, I meant ImageMagick's identify command.

The "no Ruby script found in input" message isn't from RMagick or 
ImageMagick. I suppose it's a Ruby message but I'm not sure what it means.

I'm still at a loss. The RMagick install process runs about 175 examples 
as part of building the documentation. If those examples all ran during 
the "gem install" then I can't think of any reason why you can't use 
RMagick now.
