Subject: [ruby-talk:18528] Ruby installer for Windows - on a net drive

Hi,

I'd like to have an installation of Ruby (for Win32 - the one from Dave &
Andy to be precise) installed on a net drive.

Now, as fas as I see, there are some environment variables set during the
installation:

- An entry in PATH
- Some Tcl/Tk (path) information: %w( RUBY_TCL_DLL RUBY_TK_DLL TCL_LIBRARY )

Now my question is: If these are manually set to point to the network drive
on another machine, will the installation work as expected?
In other words: Are there (eg.) any Registry entries necessary for an
installation to work properly?

Any experiences anybody?
