To get only normal files try:
   Dir["*"].delete_if{ |e| not File.file?( e ) }

To get only directories try:
   Dir["*"].delete_if{ |e| not File.directory?( e ) }

To get only links try:
   Dir["*"].delete_if{ |e| not File.link?( e ) }
