While discussions going on as if Ruby & Python are the only big two second to Perl, many including me use Tcl a lot. The Tcl community considers itself second to none :-)

I use Tcl mainly because of Tk and Expect, and it exists even Expectk that combines both Tk and Expect. I wonder why Expect is not a built-in class of Ruby or a component delivered with the core. I asked Matz last year, and he told me that he got something like that in his private environment. Hm, miam, miam. Ruby + Tk + Expect = Yellow Jersey for Tour de France!
