I have ImageMagick 6.1.8, with development headers, installed via Fink. When I do a simple gem install it seems to work, but I can't find any dynamic library for it and neither can Ruby when I try to actually use it. The following is a transcript of the install. Note that it complains that it can't find mkmf, but proceeds anyway.
