Subject: [ruby-talk:17941] Include path to libraries

Hello,

I have a problem when I want to use some extern libs.
I have installed ruby 1.6.3 (2001-03-19) [i386-netbsd1.4.2]
on my account. So when I want to use extern libraries (tk for
example), it doesn't work. I tried this code :

=== beginning ===
$:.push("~/pub/ruby-1.6.3/ext/tk/")
$:.push("~/pub/ruby-1.6.3/ext/tk/lib/")
$:.push("~/pub/ruby-1.6.3/ext/tcltklib/lib/")

require "tk"
=== end ===

And the output :
=== beginning ===
/u/a1/baty_d/pub/ruby-1.6.3/ext/tk/lib/tk.rb:458: uninitialized
constant TclTkIp (NameError)
        from test.rb:6:in `require'
        from test.rb:6
=== end ===

(And I launch "~/pub/ruby-1.6.3/ruby".)

Note that I have to copy "tcltk.rb" to "tcltklib.rb" in
".../ext/tcltklib/lib".

So, is there something wrong with me ? With Ruby (I don't think so) ?
With the world ?
