Subject: Ruby interface to Python

I know this will cause a lot of uproar, but I would like to call Python 
scripts from Ruby and I don't have any luck getting the library from 
http://raa.ruby-lang.org/project/ruby-python/ to work.

Does anybody have some experience with this?
