I'm certain those would be. Moreover, 'orthonormal' is more mathematical word than 'orthogonal'. (I don't know whether it is popular word or not.) P.S. [off topic] In addition, '正規直行' is typo of '正規直交(orthonormal)', so it has been translated as 'regular direct'. Since there are many homophonic words, we often see Kana-Kanji conversion errors at use of IME. So people suddenly grins for weird words written by themselves. Ah! :-) -- Shusaku
