As such, those of us who heard of Ruby before Rails are probably not as noticeable, generally. Then, of course, there's the simple fact that many who have heard of Ruby first might not have thought anything of it until they also heard of Rails, and got hooked that way. This may make them look like they'd heard of Rails first, even if they didn't. I'm not sure why I'm commenting on this, really, except that I do tend to wonder about the statistic incidence of this sort of thing sometimes.
