No.  You have to care just one thing:

   * regex.c is covered by LGPL, so that you have to follow its
     instruction.

I'm working on rewrite Ruby License to make things clearer, but it
would take little bit more time.

Yes.  And I'd ask you to state where you've modified clearly.
