Some examples:

solve(1, 1)  # => [1]
solve(1, 2)  # => [1, 2]
solve(1, 25) # => [1, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 50, 25]
solve(12, 11)# => [12, 14, 7, 9, 11]
solve(2, 9)  # => [2, 4, 8, 16, 18, 9]
solve(9, 2)  # => [9, 18, 20, 10, 12, 6, 8, 4, 2]
solve(17, 1) # => [17, 34, 36, 18, 20, 10, 12, 6, 8, 4, 2, 1]

There may exist equivalent paths, of the same length.
