If you didthe ruby tests it would probably reveal that. Since ruby does linkwith -undefined suppress it happily builds and installs extensionsthat do not work.You can find the LDFLAGS change among the fink patches for ruby. I donot know why ruby does this. I tried to post the patch here or to somebugtracking system but I never noticed any explanation coming my waynor was the patch applied.
