Subject: [ruby-talk:16766] Singleton method == Class method ??

Just one thing I'd like to be sure about: Ruby extensively uses the term
singleton method. Can this be considered as equivalent to what is called
Class Method in other OO languages typically Objective C?

Another question: is rb_define_singleton_method the function to use when
one want to define a "class method" (a method attached to the Meta class
in Ruby wording) or is there another way?
