Hal,

I too get errors on exit, only intermittently, and only when running
Windows (98 and 95, at least).  The identical scripts behave perfectly
on Linux -- wonder if it's a Cyg thing.

Not that I can be any help. :-) I posted a question about it here a
while back and it failed to provoke a response.
