Chapter 12 of Programming Ruby, Version 2 is about unit testing. There is an interesting test-first challenge at: http://groups.google.com/group/Ruby-Test-First-Challenge?lnk=li though they are still working out proper style There is also the API documentation for Test::Unit http://www.ruby-doc.org/stdlib/libdoc/test/unit/rdoc/classes/Test/Unit.html The best bet is to read the tests in some of the well known ruby appications though. You should be able to learn a lot that way. Look up ZenTest if you want to automate test generation. Finally, I'm doing a talk on unit testing tomorrow night for my local Ruby users group. I will be posting the slides online and will let the board know when they are available. HTH -Greg
