Distrubution: no idea, I want to make a DLL for windows, but can't get the
cygwin versions right.

Documentation: I'm using rdtool, with extra C comments, like

= This is documentation
=end */

rdtool is in the RAA on ruby-lang.org.

See http://froukepc.dhs.org/rudl/docs for how the html output looks. (Not
extremely pretty, but at least I've got my docs near the source that it's
documenting, and rdtool is somewhat standard (?).
