Subject: [ruby-talk:16328] Any Documentation for MySQL-Interface available?


Hello.

I strongly believe this has been asked before, but nonetheless:
Does anybody here know _today_ whether there's documentation 
around how to use the Ruby interface class for MySQL by Tomita
Masahiro, something that could be understood in the English-
speaking world?  (OK, German would do the job for me, too. :)

Of course, I could go dancin' on the blade's edge and find out
what I need by studying the C source of the interface.  But
I simply hope that the world big enough for people who don't 
mind sharing this extraordinary experience of theirs with me 
in a language that I understand (as I guess that Mr Masahiro 
has contributed some outstanding documentation of his work in
his native language).

What for is it needed?  We're planning here to design some 
kind of instruction language to change the face of a DB table
and automatically update all SQL queries in CGI that might
be affected by that change.  And we planned to let Ruby do
the unsexy part of that.

Thus, any information would be heavily appreciated.
