From: Michael Neumann Date: 2001-06-08T03:46:55+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:16309] Strange behaviour of require Hi, See the two examples: 1) require "odbc" p ODBC::DSN.instance_methods # => ["name", "name=", ...] 2) require "test" ########################### # file "test.rb" require "odbc" p ODBC::DSN.instance_methods # => [] I'd expect that both give the same result, but they do not! The methods of ODBC::DSN are created by calling rb_funcall(cDSN, rb_intern("attr_accessor"), "name") in the init function of the extension. Is that a bug? I am using Ruby 1.6.3.
