Hmm. I think the idea of multiple adaptors is great, and everybody should consider doing something similar. Your code as shown above, though, seems a tiny bit too low-level to me. Of course, there's a good chance that what I'm trying to implement will simply blow up in my face (figuratively speaking). If so, I may be very happy with a lower-level solution. Thanks, Hal
