Peter,

It's NOT double posting.

Gmail shows you both your sent mail and received mail in one tree,
most people aren't used to that..

The first copy is when you "send" the mail.  The second copy you see
is the copy of the message that is returned to you by the mailing
list.

If you look @ Outlook, Thunderbird, or whatever other email client...

Look in your sent mail, you'll see one copy of the message, and in
your inbox, another ... it's the same thing.
