I don't' think I've seen this solution yet, so here's my stab:

irb(main):013:0> a = [1,2,5,4,3,5,3]
=> [1, 2, 5, 4, 3, 5, 3]

irb(main):017:0> t=[]; a.delete_if{ |e| r=(not t.include? e); t.push(e); r }
=> [5, 3]
