Subject: rio..

I can get rio to work on my Windows system. I'm trying to get a list of 
matching directories  recursed from start point. I've specified my start 
point in one of the following ways:-
- //gbtpnas00/test
- \\gbtpnas00\test
- \\\\gbtpnas00\\test
- R:\test (after mapping R:\ to \\gbtpnas00\test)

and in each case I get a "can't parse URI" error

Does RIO work on Windows?

What should work to find all an array of all matching (8 digit only) 
subdirectories under this start level?

I e-mailed the rio@rubyforge address - but got no reply. Can anyone help?
