I think saving the world from evil code is a laudable aim, but if
you're ever going to save us from things like this:

  ruby -e'$><<([*$<]|[])' infile > outfile

then you'll have to whack Mark Hubbart (see ruby-talk/159649) which I
doubt is possible even in E.
