Subject: [ruby-talk:15698] using gtk

hello
I try to use ruby/gtk for make a front-end to the "dump/restore" utility

- when displaying a file-system that contains more than 10000 items
(both in a List or a Tree widget) the application hangs. Does someone if
it is a GTK bug or a ruby bug ? 
is there a solution ?

- I didn't find a "select" function to the Tree widget to retrieve the
user's selection. Is it because the library is not yet finished ?
