Driving Access through COM, essentially operating its user interface to read and write your data, is remarkably similar to laying your tongue on a baseball bat, pounding a nail through it, and then hitting a home run with it. A good way to use COM the way it was intended is Ruby->WIN32OLE->ADO->any data. That will come with Jet ("Access") drivers out-of-the-box. -- Phlip http://www.greencheese.org/ZeekLand <-- NOT a blog!!!
