From: Erik Pearson Date: 2001-05-23T08:04:56+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:15564] Cleaning up a 'gmake install' I recently installed 1.6.3 in a different place than my 1.6.2 installation, so now I'd like to remove the 1.6.2 installation completely. Looking at the Makefile, it doesn't seem like one of the *clean* rules would work for files in the install dir. Did I miss something? Is there a way to cleanup an install automatically? If I had to guess, I'd say I have to remove manually: $prefix/bin/ruby $prefix/bin/irb $prefix/lib/ruby/ $prefix/man/man1/ruby.1 Thanks in advance. --erikp--
