Ok, I put the patch in. I upgraded to the 1.6.3-1 and forgot, but the same
results. The UNIX system is also at 1.6.3 and has the patch, same results.

I get the following error message:

/cygdrive/c/RUBY/lib/ruby/1.6/tk.rb:887:in '_invoke':format error in bitmap data

Assuming tip #21 ("select" Isn't Broken) is in effect, can anyone tell me where
I have gone wrong?
