Hmm, Linux man page times(2) says: On error, (clock_t) -1 is returned, and errno is set appropriately. whereas for time(2) On success, the value of time in seconds since the Epoch is returned. On error, ((time_t)-1) is returned, and errno is set appropriately. but POSIX does not specify any error conditions. I'm not sure what I should do yet. matz.
