Is it supposed to be produced when I make the ucd-snmp module? Is it supposed to be produced when you install ucd-snmp library. Apparently ruby find the include file but not the library, verify that libsnmp is in the right directory, you have in extconf.rb if /linux/ =~ RUBY_PLATFORM $LDFLAGS = "-L/usr/lib" else $LDFLAGS = "-L/usr/local/lib" end Change $LDFLAGS to put the directory where is libsnmp* Guy Decoux
