Subject: Marshalling objects

Hello all,

I'm trying to marshal an object and I get an error "<Classname>  
cannot be referred"

Does anyone know what this error indicates? I've googled it to no  
avail, and the source code where the error is raised isn't much help  
either lest I spend hours digging through it. Thanks!
